She was a big woman and wore a white dress with huge blue polka dots all over it. She had a straw hat too, one of those wide-brimmed ones that looked more intended for a man than a woman, but judging from her liberal proportions, she would be quick and efficient to dismiss any man who caused her offense, no matter his size.
